Once you know what visuals your using in a post, you need to make sure they are SEO optimized.

Google is still learning to comprehend content by visuals alone, so there are a couple of things you can do to optimize your pictures and infographics for Search Engine Optimization and have them show up in Google image searches.

  • Make sure your image includes a search term
  • Include alt copy (alternate copy) for your image when uploading

For example, this post’s visual is named “Image_SEO” and the alt copy “Image SEO”.
